Inmates for Obama

Meet the fine, upstanding citizens who helped President Obama win this historic election.

Hey... if you were in their shoes, you would've voted for change, too.

Joshua,

Granted you are right but a very intelligent young man once told me that no matter who was president (once elected) we showed support for our president and country, prayed for our president and those influencing him. That we make sure we change the things as Christians we can change and should change. Know who that brilliant Christian man was? There was much more you said but you said it in the face of tragedy America was facing and those people who were bashing our president. Yes I know we voted for Bush but it is still what you said. My thoughts do not count for much but I was quite surprised by this posting from you. You have always been a man who spoke the truth and yes it is but does it not add fuel to the flame of those who feel a Black man should not be president because he is black not because he stands for the wrong things?

Point taken, Debbie. I posted this to be funny. What are the odds of that many people being arrested while wearing Obama apparel!? But for the record, I do support the president-elect. I think he's made some wise moves thus far in cabinet selections (aside from Hillary, of course).

I totally agree. Yes I see the humor but I guess I was thinking about how much influence you have. I was not thrilled with my choices this year for election for just about anything. It was like voting and for the first time feeling as though I did not count, you know? I watched your blog the whole time. I spoke with the pastor at JBC and to be quite nice it was not like going to you and asking for advice. I know your congregation loves to have you there to teach and shepherd! By the way congrads to you on graduation and to you and your adorable family for another one on the way. You are all so cute together.
