He's Here!

Dianna and I are glad to announce the birth of our firstborn son, Joshua Thomas Culbertson. Weighing in at 7 lbs. 15 oz., our little boy was born at 9:29 on Tuesday morning. Thankfully, he's got Dianna's good looks! The only thing I contributed was the last name (and the Y chromosome). When we got to the hospital at 9:30 Monday night Dianna was about 6cm dilated. They got her in, gave her the epidural, and the waiting began.

You should have seen my excellent wife throughout this process. Not one scream. Not one unkind word. She was amazing! I definitely have a new hero... and a new love!

Congratulations!!!! I am so excited and thankful that Joshua Thomas arrived safely and soundly and that Dianna is doing well (I am learning how much of miracle that truly is). God is truly a God of creativity and One who revels in wonder and joy.
I pray that Dianna's body will continue to recover and that Joshua Thomas will grow without any complications.

Good luck with those 4am wake up calls -- I have had my fair share the last couple of weeks and they are oh so much fun!!! :):)

He's so handsome already! I love everyone of those pictures and Josh's narration of the events. I can't wait to hear more about Mr. Thomas. Looks like everyone is doing well. You are in my prayers (I was just lifting you up this morning).

He is absolutely beautiful, even as a boy, he's BEAUTIFUL! The pictures are wonderful! It's great to see the joy shared by all in the arrival of this little boy!
He truly is blessed with a remarkable family, especially his parents...I know you will raise him knowing Christ, and that's the most important thing! May God continue to Bless you as you seek His Will in all you do...I love all 3 of you very much and miss you terribly....Ok that's enough, I've got myself crying, but as you know, that doesn't take much..Can't wait to see you!!

A truely GREAT event! If you had left my picture out it would have been even better. You'll "did good". Thanks for the grandson! I'm sure going to enjoy him for as long as the good Lord sees fit.
