Dancing with a Dictator

Columbia University, one of America’s premier educational institutions, is inviting Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to address their students. Ahmadinejad controls the nation of Iran and is an up and coming modern day Hitler. Columbia’s guest speaker has called the Holocaust a “myth” and constantly refers to America as the “great Satan.” Iran, under his leadership, has every intention of destroying both Israel and the United States. The Muslim nation defiantly seeks to develop its nuclear capabilities and is solely responsible for much of the insurgence in Iraq.

Columbia sure knows how to pick ‘em!

The university’s president claims that Ahmadinejad’s appearance is part of the school’s “long-standing tradition of serving as a major forum for robust debate.” Really? I wonder how the liberal student body would feel about George W. Bush paying a visit. I wonder if the school's administration would have allowed Jerry Falwell to join the ‘robust debate?'

I must say that I find Columbia’s invitation of Iran’s dictator to be the very definition of offensive. This is anti-American, anti-Semitic and completely lacks any concern for the families of 9/11 and our Armed Forces. This is a disgusting and shameful perversion of free speech and academic expression. It is nothing short of hate-speech sponsored by pathetically weak liberals whose tolerance level has grown so wide that they now kiss evil on the cheek and pat despots on the back.

Yet, this insanity is America’s definition of learning. We send our children off to sit under the teaching of Ahmadinejad and people who defend him. All the while, the terrorists sit back and mock these foolish Americans. Columbia took the bait. They fell for the publicity stunt. They have chosen to dance with this dictator… and it’s easy to see who has the lead.

I find it interesting that the tolerant left can allow terrorist to speak on their campuses, but their own Barry Manilow refuses to perform on The View (a primarily liberal show) because of Elizabeth Haselbeck's conservative (which he called dangerous) views.

Exactly. A blatant double standard.

Am I the only one that finds it hilarious that liberals put terrorist and homosexuals side by side and the terrorist hangs homosexuals? I think its pretty darn funny.
